Purple Jello

1 8oz box black cherry jello
8 oz Cream cheese
29 oz Canned pears
8 oz Cool Whip

Drain the pears but SAVE the juice. Crush the pears.
Mix the cheese and pears.
In a sauce pan, heat 1 cup of the pear juice.
Mix in the box of dry jello.
Mix the hot juice mix in with the pears and cheese.
Refrigerate until cool, but NOT solid.
Mix in the Cool Whip.
Refrigerate until solid before serving.

Note: after adding the hot jello mix, it needs to cool or it will melt the Cool Whip :(
